Cake Smash - Milestone Session Guide

The Rundown

• Inquire with the month(s) you're interested in + package you're interested in! - pro tip it's best to reach out 2 -3 months before their first birthday! That way we can get you scheduled beforehand.

• I contact you via email to discuss + find exactly what you're looking for-

you choose your package, date + location.

• I send over the $50 non-refundable retainer invoice + contract over digitally

- both can be paid and signed electronically.

• Retainer Paid + Contract Signed

Once retainer + contract are taken care of - we're good to go!

• I reach out about a week before your scheduled session date to confirm details.

• Today's the day! Session day!

The remaining balance is due the morning of your session.

• Our session has concluded, now what?

Within 1 - 2 weeks, you will receive a proofing gallery in your email. In there you will favorite the set amount of photos you'd wish to receive, based on your chosen package.

• You've chosen your images and sent your favorites list back to me.

Within 2 -3 weeks, you will receive the final gallery with all of the images you had chosen, fully retouched.

Tips + Tricks

• It is best to schedule your cake smash session at least 1 month before your kiddo's birthday

- if you want the images for their birthday party invites, even sooner.

• It is best to arrive at your session earlier rather than later.

Give yourself some extra time for those crazy kiddos, traffic, traveling through parks, etc.

• Bring some snacks!

If your little one likes a fruit snack here and there - bring some snacks for a rest/ snack break!

• I will provide the cake stand, buckets + baskets. I also provide a complimentary balloon garland for all my cake smash sessions. We'll discuss the theme/ colors you're going for - and I'll make one just for your session!

• The client is responsible for the smash cake, outfit(s) - extra props such as banners, characters, decor, etc.

• Cake Smash sessions can be scheduled in studio or on location. Please let me know which you would prefer when inquiring.
